This is another captivating murder mystery, darned but the suspense was awesome you could feel it through the words. It’s a gripping thriller with a brainwashed psychological killer, but I tell you, this book is truly wonderful, to think a family can be so divided by a father with such a demented personality, he had corrupted his whole household and even after death that corrupted essence was in the air tainting everyone he came into contact with.

I’m still a bit fuzzy around the edges about John’s involvement, I’m not sure he’s all that innocent about the goings-on concerning the murders. Out of the bunch, all seemed to be a bit whacked for me except for Louisa, I kinda like her, so yes once again Clara Benson’s Angela Marchmont mysteries as done it, first class, all the way.
